How important is vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is just as important as Vitamin A, C, D or any other vitamin. A deficiency of vitamin B12 is very risky as it’s linked to an array of health problems. Many are not aware of the risk involved as 67% of Americans (inclusive of Vegetarians and Vegans) are B12 deficient.

This vitamin is found in meat, fish, shellfish and dairy thus Vegans and Vegetarians are prone to such a deficiency if B12 fortified foods are not eaten, or B12 supplements are not taken.

There are many other persons who are at risk of being affected by B12 deficiency.
