Each vegetable has it’s own power source of nutrients, but a couple that are mostly forgotten are potato and cauliflower. These fall into the category of White vegetables, and are loaded with micronutrients good for the body.
Both potatoes and cauliflower are good for the digestive system and help protect against high cholesterol and cancer. Potatoes are also known as energy food and are a good source of fibre and vitamin C.
Researchers advise that eating a daily portion of green leafy vegetables are recommended, however there are none for white vegetables.
